The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Life after Penn State Life at Penn State was challenging but fun Studying, dating and working on the run Boot camp was tough but worthwhile Preparing you for civilian life with a smile Lab work was boring but you need necessities For married life is costly especially with two babies Getting an MBA at night to get ahead in corporate life Working late, traveling around the States is tough on the wife Soon promotions and more responsibilities Leading teams and helping make drug discoveries Working internationally is different and rewarding Being a part of decision making is quite stimulating Watching sons grow, attend college and marry Soon five grandchildren arrive and you feel airy Publishing poetry is fun as long as it is in rhyme Winning a national prize is rewarding especially the first time Retiring is a onetime life altering event Makes you wonder where all the time went Moving to a senior community changes the scene Functioning as trustee and writing bylaws keeps you keen Staying home with your wife and Shih Tzu gives you satisfaction Traveling to see new places results in a positive reaction Watching the Nittany Lions play and cheering for the score to be high Makes me proud to be Penn State alumni Len Capuano Class of 1960 lencapu@aol.com
